This was a piece I made in a studio class, where I was wanting to experiment more with my art. I wanted to play around with more exaggerated, dynamic angles as one of those things to experiment with. I used one of my characters, Orchid, as the subject for the piece, in a similar cadence to the “Hang in there” motivational posters. I also played around with the clothing folds on Orchid’s shirt through reenacting the pose in real life to see how the clothing folds look and translate that over to the piece.
